My name is Ludvig Gjerde, and I run my own online business while studying business in Norway.
I love playing and watching football. In fact, I chose to attend a sports high school where I trained every day. In fact, I chose a sports high school where I trained daily and fulfilled my passion. Running my business feels just as fulfilling - I can work for hours without noticing the time go by.
My mission is to help young men achieve and live their best life by inspiring to build an online business.
I explore ways to expand my business and merge my passion for sports. Currently, I research how to create a sports-related online course or mentorship program for young men who aspire to start their own online businesses.
As an introverted person, I don't often share my personal life with others. But I believe in being honest, having fun, being curious, and valuing freedom and kindness. These values drive my approach to building my online business and helping others do the same.
Gaming has always been my passion, but I wondered how much time I would have for it if I took a job. Would I have enough time to pursue my hobbies? My fear of sacrificing time kept me from working, and many of my friends felt the same. We spent our time hanging out, training, and gaming together.
For 14 years, I dreamed of becoming a football player for FC Barcelona. Then I realised that I didn't anymore. I never made it a goal.
The point is, for the last 6+ years I had no clue what I wanted to do for a living. I’ve always enjoyed travelling and wanted to be able to go on vacation in other countries every year. I knew I needed to make enough money to be able to afford that.
I've always known someone who works at a business school. They have programs for entrepreneurship. For years, I considered starting a business, but the thought of marketing my ideas and coming up with a new product scared me as an introvert. I didn't know that I could do it online, but I learned that thousands of people become millionaires every day. I realized that I couldn't succeed with a wealth-driven mindset.
When I turned 18, I saw new online opportunities and developed an interest in sports betting. This was mainly for fun, with low stakes. I soon discovered different betting strategies.
My curiosity led me to research different methods of making money online, and I started seeing ads for businesses everywhere. I checked a few out of curiosity and soon earned commissions as an affiliate marketer.
My ultimate goal is to have the freedom to do whatever I want for the rest of my life. To achieve that, I want to help students do the same before they end up trapped in a job working for someone else's dream. This drives me, and I know I accomplish whatever I set my mind to.
I truly believe that most of us choose to support the boss' dream while not chasing our own, and that the solution is starting an online business.
